This Privacy Policy explains how 56.265.921 CAIO HENRIQUE DA SILVA OLIVEIRA, registered under CNPJ no. 56.265.921/0001-30, trading as Moai Labs ("Moai", "we", "us"), processes personal data in the Moai - Workout Planner application and related services.

1. Who controls the data

The controller of personal data is 56.265.921 CAIO HENRIQUE DA SILVA OLIVEIRA. For questions, requests about personal data, or to exercise rights provided by Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD), contact us at privacidade@moailabs.com.br.

2. Data we process

We may process the following categories of data, depending on the features you use:

  • account data, such as email address, account identifier, and information required for authentication;
  • profile data, such as date of birth, gender, height, and weight, when provided by you;
  • workout data, such as routines, exercises, sets, repetitions, loads, schedule, history, and statistics;
  • application preferences, including language, notifications, and settings;
  • messages and suggestions you choose to send;
  • subscription-related data, such as plan status, subscribed product, and validity dates;
  • technical and usage data, such as navigation events, device information, error logs, and performance data;
  • advertising-related data, such as advertising identifiers and consent choices, when ads are enabled.

Profile and workout data may reveal health-related information and are handled with increased care. Please provide only the data needed to use the features you choose.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We process personal data to:

  • create and manage your account, authenticate access, and synchronize your data across devices;
  • provide workout planning, execution, and tracking features;
  • send reminders and notifications when you enable them;
  • process, restore, and manage subscriptions;
  • respond to messages, requests, and suggestions;
  • protect the service, prevent fraud, correct failures, and improve security and performance;
  • measure application use and improve its features;
  • show and measure advertising in the free plan, where applicable;
  • comply with legal obligations and exercise rights in administrative or judicial proceedings.

Depending on the purpose, processing may be based on performance of a contract with you, compliance with a legal obligation, legitimate interests, protection of life and physical safety, or your consent, when required by applicable law.

4. Sharing and processors

We share data only when necessary to operate Moai or comply with legal obligations. The main providers involved may include:

  • Supabase, for authentication, database, and synchronization;
  • Google Play, for application distribution and processing purchases made through the store;
  • RevenueCat, for managing subscription status;
  • Google AdMob, for serving and measuring advertisements, when enabled;
  • PostHog, for product analytics and usage metrics;
  • Sentry, for error and performance monitoring.

These providers may process data in other countries. We adopt providers and mechanisms compatible with applicable law, according to the contracted features and configurations.

We do not sell personal data.

5. Advertising and your choices

The free plan may display ads. Where applicable, we use consent mechanisms and privacy choices provided by the advertising platform. You can adjust privacy choices in the application's settings area when that option is available.

Subscribers to ad-free plans will not receive Moai advertising banners while their subscription is active, subject to necessary application and subscription-status updates.

6. Storage, security, and retention

We retain data for the period necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You can delete your account in the application under Settings. Deletion removes associated data stored in your Moai account. Some information may be retained when the law requires or permits retention; data processed by external providers is subject to those providers' retention policies.

We adopt reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or improper disclosure. No transmission or storage is entirely risk-free.

7. Your rights

Under the LGPD, you may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, blocking, deletion, portability when applicable, information about sharing, withdrawal of consent, and review of automated decisions, when applicable.

8. Children and adolescents

Moai is not directed to children. If processing data of children or adolescents is necessary, it will comply with applicable legal requirements, including the involvement of legal guardians where appropriate.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to Moai, our data processing activities, or the law. The current version will be available at moailabs.com.br/privacidade, with the date of the latest update.
